Rahoon/Newcastle GAA & Camogie club is quickly becoming one of Galway city’s most vibrant and dynamic sporting organisations catering for over 500 members with a major focus on developing hurling and camogie at underage and youth levels.

Proudly represented at Galway Senior level by John Hanbury, we are now planning a major expansion programme at our club grounds in Tonabrucky with the development of a second full-size sand-based pitch. This expansion is necessary due to the significant increase in registered players and active members across all age groups in the club, from our U6 nursery programme through to our various Adult teams.

As is the case with all GAA clubs, this work is all carried out on a voluntary basis by members of the local community working together to provide sporting, social and recreational facilities to local children and adults alike.

The fundraising committee of Rahoon/Newcastle GAA & Camogie club are currently organising a Race Night which will be held at the Office Bar in Salthill on Friday November 2nd at 8.30pm to raise the necessary funds to facilitate this continued development of our club facilities and our coaching resources.
