And that’s a wrap on Cúl Camps 2023 – a fantastic week with such a lovely positive atmosphere and with over 200 kids attending each day, it was our biggest ever camp!!

We were thrilled to have Galway Camogie star Lisa Casserly visit our camp today – she gave the kids great time, answering loads of questions and signing hurls. Míle buíochas Lisa!

Special thanks to our Camp Co-ordinators Aoife Britton & Shane O’Connor who not only put in a massive effort this week but have put in trojan work over the last number of months organising the camp. We are so grateful for all your hard work.
The kids;
Finally, thank you to the kids. With the vast majority of our club membership under the age of 18, children are at the heart of everything we do here at Rahoon/Newcastle GAA. Our primary focus is ensuring every child feels included and has fun. To see the big smiles on their faces at the end of camp today is reassurance that we’re doing something right! We hope they all had a fantastic week and have made friendships and memories to last a lifetime
